Shelby County’s legislative branch is the Board of Commissioners and is made up of 13 districts.

The Shelby County Election Commission provides a Precinct Locator.  Once you enter your address, it provides district information for many entities.  Then, you can visit the Board of Commissioners District Map page. This page includes a list of all the districts and their current office holders with links to further information on each Commissioner.

term limits

Each Commissioner serves a 4 year term. All districts are up for election every 4 years with a consecutive two-term limit.
