  • 24 Languages Project 
    This website “is a project of the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, in partnership with the Utah Department of Health, the Immunization Action Coalition, AAPCHHO and many others, to improve access to health materials in multiple languages.”  Consumer health brochures and sound recordings in multiple languages are available here.
  • EthnoMED 
    “This site contains information about cultural beliefs, medical issues and other related issues pertinent to immigrant health care.”  Culture-specific pages include: Amharic, Cambodian, Chinese, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Hispanic, Oromo, Somali, Tigrean, Vietnamese and others.
  • Health Information Translations 
    Health Information Translations is designed to improve health education to patients with limited English skills.  This website is maintained by The Ohio State University Medical Center, Ohio Health, Mount Carmel Health System, Columbus Medical Association Foundation and the American Medical Association Foundation.
  • Immunization Action Coalition 
    The Immunization Action Coalition works to increase immunization rates and prevent disease.  Information is available in English and thirty-two (32) other languages.
  • Maternal and Child Health Library 
    “The Maternal and Child Health Library at Georgetown University provides the MCH community with accurate and timely information on a broad range of topics.”  It includes materials “in numerous languages other than English, and the Organizations Database identifies additional sources for these materials.”
  • Multilingual Health Information 
    MedlinePlus, a National Library of Medicine service, offers consumer health information in a variety of  languages. NLM also offers a list of health resources for Spanish and a variety of languages.

    The Indian Health Service (IHS) is an agency within the US Dept. of Health and Human Services and is responsible for providing federal health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives.
  • Native Health Database
    This University of New Mexico resource contains bibliographic information and abstracts of health-related articles, reports, surveys, and other resource documents pertaining to the health and health care of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Canadian First Nations. Document delivery is currently free on any article found in this database.
